The Vision

The vision of being the church that was not.

God desires a people who are not just men or women, or even a group of people who refuse to let their thoughts direct them. He does not want a church that is led strictly by their rest- the rest from working, yet working to rest in the work of God. The vision of this church is simple. It was not born in me, but it is born in the mind of God. Who would want a vision that is from one's own self? I could never be satisfied with a vision that I have. I could never be satisfied with the things that I want. I could never be satisfied with my ideas about how I think a ministry should go or operate. God desires people who will only be satisfied with His vision, and His goals. With the vision of God in mind, where is the other vision that will supercede it? Where is the goal that is higher than the the Most High? Who is the one that has better plans or a better strategy for revealing the Kingdom other than the King Himselfl? I seek not a vision from my own spirit; for everything I receive in my spirit is second best. God always out-performs the vision that He gives His servants.
With that in mind, I will give you a few ideas that the Lord has given me, knowing that the Lord will out-perform any thought He has allowed me to have, beyond my understanding. The vision is simple.

1) I will seek to be silent. I will practice the art of being quiet. I will study to be nothing. This is the beginning of the Kingdom of God, and the manifestation of the power in Him. With this in mind, realize that I will be more than silent and those who are a part of this last day outpouring will learn to do as well. Only this, the silence we achieve will be greater than we can think, for God always out-performs us.

2) I see a bride kissing the groom behind a church. For God has lost interest in what has been going on behind the four walls of our buildings. It is intimacy that He seeks. Again, if the vision that I have received is intimacy, how much closer will God bring His people into fellowship with Him if He always does more than we can think or dream?

3) I see fear and power restored to the body that has been sleeping for so long. I see apostles, preachers, teachers and prophets rising to minister in great power and authority. I see a church that is humbled and respectful to the ones over them in the Lord. Not because of the person, but the anointing and the person of God that is manifested in them. I see a five fold ministry already beginning to form again. If this is the vision, how great will this church be that has slept so long? How powerful will it be if I see millions being healed. Finally, what does God see?

4) I see the idol of money falling and those who have worshipped it in the church falling with it. If that is the vision, how great will be their fall?

5) I see the humility and love of God restored and manifested in the hearts of the people, changing the world around them through love. If this love is seen by me, what does God see?

6) I see the walls of tradition and false doctrines destroyed and their ministers broken and yoked by the ministry to preach against the doctrines that they once upheld with fervent spirit. If this is what I see, how many doctrines will be destroyed by God?

7) I see a hunger being stirred in the heart of people, even in some who are reading this now whom the voice of God has spoken to. This hunger is seen by me is great. What is the measure of the thirst and hunger that God has put into you? What hunger does God see? It is always greater than the vision he gives.

These are just a few fingers pointing you the way where I am going and have been. If you feel like you want to be part of this ministry in some way, please contact me. A word of encouragement and the knowledge that I'm not alone comforts me. How great is the comfort of knowing that God has given the same revelation to other men and women. Surely Elijah would not have asked for death if he had known about the seven thousand that had not bowed their knee to Baal.
If you would like to be added to the prayer list, please e-mail your name, address and testimony. Share some things with me. I would enjoy hearing from anyone.
