Statement of Faith
(What we believe)
We believe that there is one God with manifold person, manifold wisdom,
and manifold power. He exists eternally as the Father, Son,
and the Holy Spirit.
We believe that by the drawing of the Spirit, through Jesus Christ only,
and
by His shed blood, can a man or woman be saved
and brought into the Kingdom of God.
He is the way, the truth and the life.
We believe in the predestined church, the bride of Christ, by grace
alone,
brought to life by His blood, to maintain good works,
in response to such grace.
We believe in the unity of the church, the bringing together of all people of God, united by the blood of Christ. We are all one body, through one Spirit, by one Savior, to one God.
We believe that we know in part, therefore we are not above any man, but
rather we will submit ourselves to those who are placed to serve us in positions
spoke of in Gods word. We believe that there should be no schism
in the body, the least should be revered more than the great and
the first to be last as so spoken by the Lord Jesus.
We believe in loving our enemies, as well as our brothers and sisters,
showing
forth the abundant fruit of the Spirit with an eagerness to shine as lights
in a loveless world. The fruit of the Spirit being Love, Joy, Peace,
Patience, Gentleness, Goodness, Faith, Meekness, and
Self Control. These we strive to practice daily,
crucifying our flesh.
We believe in the gifts of the Spirit of God, as well as the fruits.
Though the
fruits are more important, the gifts of the Spirit we believe to be essential
for the progression of the Kingdom. The supernatural manifestations
and demonstrations of the Spirit of God are most important to impact
today's society. The Baptism of the Holy Ghost is the will of God
for every believer, to as many as the Lord shall call.
We believe in the commission of Christ. To preach the gospel, heal
the sick, cast out devils and to baptize as He so commanded.
It is the central focus of the believer, the will of His Father,
which is to evangelize the world with the gospel.
We believe in the power of the Holy Spirit, that He is greater than he
who
is in the world. Additionally, we have the power to storm the gates
of Hell by prayer and good living. We hold the power to tread upon
the authority of the enemy, by our commitment to Christ
through the power of the Spirit.
We believe the Bible is the inspired word of God. The word is to be a
lamp to
our feet, the sanctification of our lives, our daily bread of life to live by.
For man shall not live by bread alone, but by God's word.
The guidelines set in scripture are for the good of the
Church and the will of the Father. All of the
prophecies and promises are true
and have proven to be so
through time.
We believe in mercy and not judgment, that we are to show forth mercy
and
love to a sinful world, knowing that we ourselves were such before
we were washed by His blood. By this knowledge we love always,
being patient with others, that we may win them
to God by the love of God.
We believe in the unity of the faith. We know that a kingdom divided
cannot stand. We know that the kingdom of darkness is united in its faith, therefore the
church should also be united- one with faith and doctrine. We do
not oppose others who believe on Christ, rather we accept
truth and the good of every man, and reprove the
evil by our lives and deeds, without judgment,
bringing us and others back to
the unity of the cross.
We believe that God is using a church that will be committed to prayer
and
the seeking of His face. We believe that when we humble ourselves
and pray, turning from our wicked ways, that He will hear us.
We believe also that He is reviving this world before He
comes in power, though a great falling away has
occurred, the Lord will come and every
knee shall bow, every tongue confess
that He is Lord of all!
AMEN
